The Center for Implementing Technology in Education (CITEd) is a wealth of information that is funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The site is easy to navigate and with a search box articles can be easily found. They even provide search results by topic and type to help you find what best suites your needs. Following their site map allows one to move through the web site even if you do not know what you are specifically looking for including tips for teachers, administrators, tech coordinators and professional development coordinators. The research conducted by the Center for Implementing Technology in Education is to provide “evidence-based, promising, and emerging to help practitioners make appropriate decisions about what instructional technologies to use in their classrooms.” The CITEd website allows school district faculty to become a free member allowing you to save, view, and manage resources on the site. By becoming a member one is also able to create toolkits allowing you to collect resources and email them to others as a kit. I do not find many faults with this web site it is very straight forward, easy to use, and very reliable.
